Delinquent Rental Assistance

Application Rules

Delinquent Rent

Applicant must be past due on their rent in order to receive assistance

Subsidies 

We are unable to offer rental assistance for those in Section 8 or subsidized housing

Forms

A completed Landlord Verification Form is required in order to receive assistance

Stop Eviction

Your Landlord must agree that our payment will stop the eviction process (if applicable) 

Application Guidelines

  • We serve 69 counties in Wisconsin. We do not have funding for Dane, Racine, or Milwaukee Counties.

  • We do not have funding for hotels/motels.

​​

​

  • Must have income or proof of a new income source starting—this includes unemployment, child support, social security, disability etc.​

​

  • Applicants must be under the 80% County Median Income. 

​​

​

  • If you do not have the ability to pay your housing expenses going forward your application will be denied.

​​

​

  • If delinquent due to theft or stolen money, you must submit police report with application.

​​

​

  • If delinquent due to emergency expenses, you will be asked to submit receipt(s)for those expenses.
